I started Bonnets & BroNets Boutique with a simple idea: beautiful, protective bonnets that feel good, look good, and do good. As someone who cares deeply about children, families, and faith, I wanted every bonnet to carry more than just style.

Years ago, someone insulted me for wearing my plain black bonnet out in public while I was on my way to get a perm. I was embarrassed by my 4C hair, so I hid it — and hid behind that basic bonnet.

Around 2016, I stopped perming and started learning what my natural hair truly needed. That's when I discovered how much a good bonnet matters — not just any bonnet, but one made with intention. Years later, that lesson became Bonnets & BroNets Boutique: crowns for every queen learning to love her hair, exactly as it grows.
